Spring Garden Series – “Horticultural History of Cincinnati”

Please come and join the St. Gregory the Great Health Ministry for their Spring Garden Series to learn more about gardening from local expert Scott Beuerlein!  Scott is a Horticulturist at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and a prolific speaker and writer.  He has graciously volunteered to give three informative and amusing talks to help us learn more about all things Garden!  Don’t miss out on these amazing topics sure to entertain and enlighten, and maybe even improve our health and lower our stress.

Scott will discuss Cincinnati’s rich horticultural history, including such institutions as the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum, Boone County Arboretum, Cincinnati Parks, and more.  This talk even goes back to Longworth’s vineyards and the Beer Barons.  A real treat for those who love Cincinnati, history, and horticulture!

This is the final presentation in our series.  Please come and join us in Immaculate Heart of Mary’s Heritage Hall at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 13th.
