David Shea has been a permanent deacon in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, for almost 24 years. He was ordained by Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk in September 1998.  He retired as the Associate Professor of Homiletics at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary where he taught for 17 years. He is a member of the Catholic Association of Teachers of Homiletics (CATH). David has been married to Jan for 53 years. He enjoys photography, travel, baseball, time with friends and family, especially time with his three grandchildren—Aidan, Liam, and Isis.
